This research is part 1 of 2 exploring the many paths of generosity we now see beyond contributions to nonprofits. This research will explore how Americans define “giving.”
Questions we seek to answer include:
How do Americans now define “giving” that is other than money (time, service, influence, advocacy, resources, network, expertise)?
How have perceptions of millennials valuing giving their time as a proxy for giving money permeated into other generations? Has this perception changed as millennials have aged?
